Ubiquiti AmpliFi AFI-ALN-R With the latest 802.11ax WiFi 6 technology delivers 4x overall network capacity and 2x coverage while reaching true gigabit speeds.
It has a tri-band radio with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz 802.11ax radios that are optimised for WiFi 6 performance while also being backwards compatible with earlier WiFi standards.
To improve the performance of 5 GHz WiFi 5 devices, the third radio (4×4) can be enabled. You can use AmpliFi Alien as a standalone router or connect an unlimited number of AmpliFi Alien Routers as Mesh Points to enhance range coverage.

Flexible Interfaces
The AmpliFi Alien router is a powerful and secure device with a single Gigabit internet port and an internal power source. Each Alien router has a 4 Gigabit Ethernet port LAN switch built in.
Gigabit Ethernet may be installed in any room without the need of cables. For wireless communication, use WiFi 6, and for local wired connectivity, use the LAN ports.
Performance
AmpliFi Alien is designed to deliver the best possible performance to your home network, regardless of how many client devices are connected at the same time.
Alien reduces dead spots and quadruples total home network capacity by utilizing MU-MIMO and OFDMA for communication across twelve WiFi 6 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz Radios spatial streams.
Alien also includes a dedicated 5 GHz radio with WiFi 5 (802.11ac) capabilities that you can use to dedicate bandwidth to performance-critical devices instead of competing with other devices on your home network.

With the accompanying AmpliFi app, you can set up your AmpliFi network in under a minute. You can configure the AmpliFi Alien for your environment with user-friendly, yet feature-rich controls and statistics.
