This Ubiquiti NBE-M5-16 5GHz WiFi 4 Access Point (N) can be easily mounted in a variety of ways thanks to the innovative mechanical design, and it directs RF energy into a tighter beam width resulting with the focus in one direction so it blocks or spatially filters out noise, and noise immunity is improved.
This feature is especially important in an area crowded with other RF signals of the same or similar frequency.
Key Features
- All-in-one design:Â The NanoBeam provides both the radio and antenna in the smallest possible footprint. High powered 5GHz dish antenna with an 16dBi gain for outdoor use
- Built-in mechanical tilt:Â The mounting bracket conveniently offers 20 degrees of uptilt and up to 20 degrees of down tilt.
- Quick assembly:Â The number of fasteners was reduced to simplify assembly. Tools are required only when the technician mounts the NanoBeam on the pole.
- Easy removal:Â The antenna feed can be detached with the push of a button.
- Fasteners:Â GEOMET-coated for improved corrosion resistance when compared with zinc-plated fasteners.
- Dish and brackets:Â Made of galvanized steel that is powder-coated for superior corrosion resistance.
- Mounting:Â Redesigned pole bracket prevents paint from being removed from the metal brackets for improved corrosion resistance.
Dish Reflector Design
This Ubiquiti NBE-M5-16 NanoBeam M5 Outdoor 5GHz 16dBi WiFi access point features the “Dish Reflector Design”.
This leverages Ubiquiti’s “Inner Feed” technology which integrates the radio into the feed horn of the antenna, so there is no need for any cable, improving performance by eliminating cable losses.
By providing increased performance with its faster processor and innovative mechanical design at a low cost, the Ubiquiti NBE-M5-16 NanoBeam M5 is extremely versatile and cost-effective to deploy.

Utilize airMAX Technology
