Powered by Synology’s DiskStation Manager (DSM) OS, the FS3410 comes with reliable and user-friendly backup, file sharing and synchronization, and virtualization solutions.
It has a 2 RU form factor and can be installed into racks using a separately sold Sliding Rail Kit (RKS-02).
It provides sequential write speeds of 3400 MB/s, sequential read speeds of 6950 MB/s, and is equipped with twenty-four 2.5″ drive bays that support SATA SSDs.
Using its 24 drive bays, this NAS will allow you to store and share a large number of files, including videos, music, photos, and documents with up to 16,000 user accounts and 4000 maximum concurrent connections.
The FlashStation FS3410 runs Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) OS, which is a browser-based operating system which helps to simplify managing your Synology NAS.
Its CPU is a 2.1 GHz Intel Xeon D-1541 Eight-Core with a burst frequency of up to 2.7 GHz, and its 16GB of DDR4 ECC Registered RAM, which be upgraded to 128GB, allows frequently used files and applications to be quickly accessed.
Two USB 3.0 Type-A ports allow it to be connected to compatible devices. Network connectivity is achieved via the two 10 Gigabit Ethernet and four Gigabit Ethernet ports, all of which support Link Aggregation and Failover, allowing your stored data to be shared with users throughout the network.
There are also two PCIe 3.0 x8 slot, which can be used for a 25/40GbE NIC expansion card, as well as a fifth Gigabit Ethernet port for out-of-band management and data transfers.
For those who require RAID support, the FS3410 supports RAID F1 and Basic, as well as RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, and 10, each of which provides speed, data redundancy, or a combination of both. For those who do not require a RAID, JBOD is available.
The Synology FlashStation FS3410 24-Bay NAS Enclosure operates using dual redundant power supplies that run at 100-240 VAC at 50/60 Hz.
It includes an accessory pack and two power cords. Protection is provided by a limited 5-year warranty.
